Staun Bead Locks (at Discount Pricing)
.' WOW! The newly redesigned Staun Pneumatic Beadlocks are begining to arrive, and at a great new price too! What has changed? The color, the material, and the manufacturing process have all been upgraded. The color -- Prior Staun Bead Locks were color coded to wheel diameter and width. A good idea, but the logistics for ordering, storing and manufacturing color coded bead locks added cost without added durability. Black beads, white sidewalls and an orange cap keep 'em looking good, and saves you a few bucks. The material -- The most significant change has to do with the heavier material used for the Cap Sidewall. This, in conjunction with a more curve-compliant Bead material overcomes the most glaring objection -- difficult to install. With the stiffer Sidewall, both the inside and outside of the Cap is forced to take the proper position inside the tire and results in easier and faster installations. Manufacturing Process -- More automation in material cutting and sewing means better dimensional control and lower manufacturing cost. All this and at a lower price! December 15, 2008 Move fast, for it's first come, first serve and the sale is limited to existing stock and what's coming in the next sea shipment (scheduled to arrive on or about January 6, 2009).

What is a Staun Pneumatic Internal Beadlock? The Staun Internal Bead Lock fits inside your tire, and divides the tire's air chamber in two; a high pressure chamber to lock the tire's bead to rim; a low pressure chamber to control tire characteristics. Pressure within each chamber is controlled by independent valve stems. The high pressure (50 PSI) bead lock compartment locks the tire's bead to both of your wheel's rims. In addition, the bead lock extends slightly above rim height. The extended height provides a cushion between the tire's sidewall and rim edge if the tire should completely deflate. The low pressure (zero to 45 PSI) tire compartment allows you to control how the tire, terrain and your vehicle interact. Tests of tires fitted with Staun Internal Bead Locks and with zero pressure in the tire compartment have shown the tire stayed in position, and full control of the vehicle was maintained while also cushioning the tire from the rim and minimizing tire damage. On-trail use has proven Staun Internal Bead Locks work. Low, or no, pressure in the sidewall and tread provide added traction and flotation to assist you in conquering trail challenges. Plus your tire's flexible sidewalls, not your aching back, are able to absorb much of the harshness associated with traveling primitive trails. High pressure in the tire's bead area locks both beads, not just one bead like most other bead locks do, to your wheel rims. Since the Staun beadlock extends slightly above the rim, your rim is less prone to impact damage from immovable objects.Staun Internal Bead Lock highlights
